What made my decision in joining MaxWell South Star was the broker Tracy Carson. All my questions and concerns were addressed on time and with expertise. I met Tracy and thought she was fantastic; Tracy was informative and knowledgeable in running MaxWell South Star; I also appreciated all the help MaxWell corp. office had to offer when I officially signed up, making the transition from one brokerage to another run smoothly. I live out in Three Hills but the commute in for South Star’s Monday Morning Meetings is worth it. The information shared there is invaluable. There are always guests who speak at the meetings, like in-house mortgage brokers, who keep us up to date with the latest rates and lending information, lawyers, who share personal anecdotes about strange cases they’ve come across, and various others who come in to promote their business. The conversations that happen between the Realtors at these meetings are helpful too! It’s great to be able to hear how agents deal with issues and to have others give advice on what they’ve done as well.

Billy and I really like being a part of MaxWell South Star Realty. One big reason is that our commission cheques are held in a trust account. Most REALTORS® don’t know that typically the commissions are run through a general account and can be used for general operation of a brokerage. We know this as we used to belong to a brokerage that stole our commissions and that’s when we realized it was important to look into this when choosing a brokerage. We also like that we can go to our broker for when we have challenging questions in our real estate deals as Tracy is very knowledgeable and if she doesn’t know the answer, she will find an answer and get back to us. Even though we don’t live or work anywhere near the South Star Office, we have chosen to stay there as we enjoy this group of colleagues, our broker, the Admin staff and the support that is offered. It is a well run office!
